Our Home Tour
Welcome to our home!
Our home makeover was such a labor of love - and we couldn't love how it turned out more! Scroll down for photos, and to shop the items we used to design and decorate our home.
Kitchen and Living Room
Our kitchen and living room.
The kitchen and living room were designed to co-exist. Nothing makes us happier than being able to host our family and friends, and of course most of the time everyone is gathered around the food.
With that in mind, we wanted this space to be open, inviting and relaxing. It has a ton of space for food prep and buffet-style meals, but also has lots of space for people to hang out, laugh and unwind.
The pot filler is a game changer in the kitchen!
Again, as much as I love a beautiful home, I always want my home to be functional. Adding the pot filler above the stove has made it easier to fill our large Our Space pot when cooking pasta — something we cook a lot around here! These Our Place pots and pans are my absolute FAV!

Earthy calming tones always.
Tons of pillows to cozy up the couch.
Our living room rug is one of the most asked about items in our house. I loved the checkered pattern and subtle green addition to the space. A lot of time is spent playing on this area rug, so I’m glad we chose such a cozy piece. Here is a similar rug!
In the photo below you can see what the kitchen looks like when you’re sitting in the living room. Lots of counter seating is available so we usually congregate around the island for breakfast and when hosting. These bar stools are stunning!

Our island has lots of seats so no one has to stand while conversing in the kitchen.
I love that the kitchen walks right out to the back patio. This open space is truly a hostess’ dream. We spend so much time outdoors in the summer, it’s nice to have easy access to the patio from the kitchen. We got a new patio set last year and it’s so comfy. Here is a similar set!
Where the tea is spilled. We love to hang out here at night and chat beside the fireplace.
Master Bedroom
Our bedroom is cozy and calm. When decorating the home we are always cognizant to choose earthy tones so that our home feels like a cozy, calm place for us and our children. Our bedroom was no exception. Most nights we all sleep in here so the bed is simple and safe. We love the natural light that comes in through these windows. All of our bedding is from Cozy Earth. The coziest accent chair.
Bathrooms
While I love a beautiful bathroom, I also love functional living spaces. Both of our bathrooms were designed for a busy family. A bathtub is essential with little ones, so one of our bathrooms has a tub and the other has a walk-in shower.
The larger bathroom where the girls and I have taken over.
The girls and I have taken over the larger bathroom so Justin has claimed the other. I love the mix of tiles in his bathroom. The marble has golden and brown grains and is one of my favourite textile finds from the reno. I love the way this bathroom turned out!

The marble tile in this bathroom was one of my favourite finds.
Laundry and Mud Room
Having a mud room was essential for me as a mom. A space where the kids can throw their stuff after school that doesn’t clutter our living space was key. I love the look of this space, but love how functional it is even more.

Our mud room is the perfect place to drop our things when we get home!
Just outside the mud room is our laundry space. When renovating I switched to a stackable washer and dryer so we could add a laundry room sink and some more storage for cleaning supplies and detergent. I realistically don’t fold laundry in this space, so I wanted it to be less about folding laundry and more about being an organized space for our laundry and cleaning supplies.

Stacked washer and dryer gave us more space for a laundry sink and some storage.
